What X-Rays Cannot Show
It's important to understand the limitations of X-ray imaging. X-rays cannot visualize soft tissues like muscles, ligaments, or tendons, discs (only disc space height), herniated disc material, nerves or nerve compression, or inflammation or swelling.
For these issues, we rely on clinical examination, patient history, and sometimes advanced imaging like MRI if needed (which we'll refer you for if indicated).
The Convenience Factor
Having digital X-ray capabilities in our office eliminates the hassle of driving to a separate imaging center, waiting days or weeks for appointments, paying separate facility fees, and waiting for results to be sent to us before starting treatment.
You get everything done in one visit—examination, imaging, diagnosis, and treatment plan—saving you time, money, and frustration.
